SEAhawk uses a patent-pending, containment technology that cryptographically binds protected data to organizations’ "Trust Boundaries". This provides protection against data theft even when the action comes from within. A set of PCs and secure media that can be shared is termed a Trust Boundary.
The following Figure illustrates media being shared within Trust Boundary A, and a different media within Trust Boundary B. Each User can access the secure media if they know the correct Media Sharing Password.
Trust Boundaries address the internal threat of data leakage using a cryptographic level of assurance. The enterprise information is protected in this way because the data encryption is bound to the Trust Boundary itself. For decryption to be successful, having the password for the media is not sufficient in itself.
